DJ Steve Porter is remixing 'Fear Factor's' most memorable moments for the show's YouTube channel with a new auto-tuned track launching each Friday.

Fear Factor is getting remixed for YouTube.

The reality series, which aired from 2001 to 2006 and later returned for a limited run in 2011, will be the subject of a new weekly series on YouTube. Endemol Beyond USA, the digital arm of Endemol Shine Group, has inked a deal with Steve Porter's Porterhouse Media to mash up clips of old Fear Factor episodes into video remixes.

"This is the next generation of Fear Factor, produced specifically for the digitally-savvy millennial audience," says Endemol Beyond president Will Keenan, adding that the clips will be "bite-sized, Internet-friendly content that our YouTube, Facebook and OTT viewers are sure to enjoy."

Porter is a music video producer and DJ known for remixing and Auto-Tuning videos to create viral hits such as "Slap Chop Rap" and "Press Hop." He will take a similar approach with the Fear Factor videos, creating new content themed around popular moments from the show, including crazy stunts or big explosions.

New mashups will post every Friday to the Fear Factor YouTube channel. The videos are the first in a wave of digital programming that will roll out on the Fear Factor channel, including stunts, pranks, challenges and never-before-see content from the original series.
