Endemol Nabs International Rights to TNT's 'Leverage'
Company strike deal with Electric Entertainment to sell the TV series abroad.
Endemol has picked up the international distribution rights to the TNT series Leverage.
The company has struck a deal with Electric Entertainment to sell the TV series abroad.
Leverage is a modern-day rarity in the marketplace as it's produced by an independent company.
The show has been ordered by TNT for a fourth season, having averaged 4.5 million viewers during Season 3.
"We are delighted to partner with Dean Devlin and the Electric Entertainment team on Leverage, the only U.S. TV drama produced independently," Endemol executive vp acquisitions Philippe Maigret said. "The series is an ideal acquisition as we develop a leading new-generation indie television drama business and expand our U.S. scripted programming portfolio for international distribution across all platforms."
