The TV powerhouses merged with 'American Idol' owner Core Media last year.

The Endemol Shine Group has set up its new global sales banner, Endemol Shine International, merging the distribution operations of Shine International and Endemol Worldwide Distribution.

Endemol executive Cathy Payne, who was named CEO of Endemol Shine's distribution business at the end of last year, will head up the new combined sales group. The operation boasts a blockbuster lineup of reality TV and fiction titles, including MasterChef, My Kitchen Rules, Broadchurch and Peaky Blinders. It will operate out of hubs in eight countries, with offices to launch in Singapore and Mumbai, adding to established headquarters in London, Los Angeles, Miami, Paris, Sydney and Moscow.

"Cathy has assembled an exceptionally strong team from the two merged distribution businesses," said Boudewijn Beusmans, group commercial officer of Endemol Shine Group, in a statement. “Under her leadership and with an incredibly diverse combined catalog, Endemol Shine International is ideally positioned to serve broadcasters and other platforms in every market."

Matt Creasey, who is based in L.A., will head up distribution operations across the Americas, Asia, Australia and New Zealand as executive vp sales and acquisitions. Matt Lawrence will run Endemol Shine International's European teams as executive director Europe, based in London. Endemol Shine International CFO John Richards and head of operations Jan Rowland will also be based at the London office, as will James Braham, senior sales director U.K. and Ireland.

Further appointments include Lisette Schlippe, who becomes senior sales director for Germany and major central and eastern European territories. In France, Endemol and Shine will continue to run independent distribution operations with Shine International’s Priscilla Siney and Endemol Worldwide Distribution's Solange Ribeiro Murphy as senior sales directors for French territories for their respective divisions.

Down Under, Endemol's Kirsten Cargill and Shine International's Lisa Higginson will continue as senior sales director and sales director, respectively, for Australia/New Zealand, working out of Sydney.

Endemol Shine will announce a new Asia sales director, to be based in Singapore and report to senior sales director Rashmi Bajpai, himself based in Mumbai. The company will hire a new head of acquisitions, to be based in London.

The Endemol Shine Group was created last year by the megamerger of Endemol, Shine and the Core Media group, owners of the American Idol franchise. The company's international sales arm will have its official coming-out at the international television market MIP-TV in Cannes in April.
