Amazon Prime Video gets first-run access to 'Turn' and 'The Red Road' series from AMC and SundanceTV

Entertainment One has signed a multiyear TV deal with Amazon that gives the online giant the SVOD rights to AMC and SundanceTV scripted series in the U.K. and Germany.

The multiterritory deal, announced Monday, includes AMC's Halt and Catch Fire and the revolutionary war drama Turn, along with SundanceTV's The Red Road. Amazon Prime Video members will be able to view the AMC and SundanceTV series in October 2015, and new and future scripted series will become available the day after broadcast in the U.S. market.

Entertainment One handles international distribution on original shows from U.S.-based AMC Networks' AMC and SundanceTV networks. That international output deal includes AMC's upcoming Badlands series.

Entertainment One is also the studio and international distributor behind AMC's Hell on Wheels, which is shot in Canada, and distributes The Walking Dead worldwide.
