Grammys 2015: Eric Church Performs "Give Me Back My Hometown"
Keith Urban introduced the country star to the stage.
Country star Eric Church brought the house down with his performance of "Give Me Back My Hometown." The singer is up for four Grammy nominations.
Church performed while images of protests and police brutality played onscreen from civil rights and free speech movements around the world. Protestors were shown holding pictures of Martin Luther King Jr. while others had posters that read "Je suis Charlie" in reference to the Charlie Hebdo tragedy.
"Give Me Back My Hometown" is nominated for best country song. The hit record from Church's album The Outsiders was co-written by Church and Luke Laird.
The awards ceremony also featured performances from Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran, among others. The 57th Grammys were held Feb. 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
