Eric McCormack takes lead in ABC pilot

"Will & Grace" star Eric McCormack is returning to multicamera comedy with a starring role on the untitled Tad Quill half-hour pilot.

Reno Wilson, Jolie Jenkins and Constance Zimmer also have been cast in the ABC pilot.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Sloane, Mary Elizabeth Ellis and Charlie Finn have landed leads on ABC's comedy pilot "Pulling" and Holly Robinson Peete and Josh Braaten will co-star opposite Lauren Graham on ABC's comedy pilot "The Bridget Show."

ABC Studios' Quill comedy centers on two friends who embark on very different lives: Dean (McCormack), a heart surgeon with a new baby, and Seth (Wilson), a contractor with a new empty nest. Jenkins will play Dean's wife, and Zimmer will play Seth's wife.

For Emmy-winner McCormack, repped by Endeavor and manager Leanne Coronel, the pilot is formally in second position to his TNT series "Truth in Advertising," which is not expected to return.

Wilson ("Blind Justice") is repped by Domain. Zimmer, who recurs on "Entourage," is with Innovative and Sweeney Management.

ABC Studios' "Heroics" revolves around four B-list superheroes living among us who are led by Pete aka Chillout, a Canadian-born superhero who can freeze small objects.

ABC Studios' "Pulling," based on a British format, revolves around three single thirtysomething women, two of them played by Sloane and Ellis, who live together after one (Sloane) breaks off her engagement the day before her wedding.

Finn, repped by APA and Brillstein Entertainment, will play the jilted fiance. Sloane is with Endeavor and Thruline.

CBS Par's "Back" stars Ulrich as a man who returns home to discover he was reported missing eight years earlier after Sept. 11.

Sony's "Bridget Show" stars Graham as Bridget, a popular talk show host and relationship expert who walks away from her stellar career to be with the man she loves but five years later, she tries to hit the comeback trail after he dumps her.

Robinson Peete, repped by Innovative and manager Dolores Robinson, will play guest therapist on Bridget's show who takes over the show after Bridget leaves and becomes a daytime maven.

Braaten, repped by APA and Crosby/Spilo, plays the stoner cousin of Bridget's recent ex.
