Estes commits to 'Murder'; duo on 'Watch'

Rob Estes has been tapped to co-star on ABC's upcoming drama series "Women's Murder Club."

Meanwhile, Richard Ruccolo and Casey LaBow have joined NBC's one-hour pilot "The Watch," while Edward Herrmann has come aboard ABC's hit drama "Grey's Anatomy" for a multiepisode arc.

"Murder," from 20th Century Fox TV, centers on Lindsay Boxer (Angie Harmon), a homicide detective who solves tough murder cases with the help of her three girlfriends.

Estes will play Boxer's ex-husband, Tom, a politically savvy police lieutenant for whom she still has unresolved feelings. The role, which was small in the pilot, has been expanded.

Estes most recently recurred on CBS' "CSI: Miami."

"Watch," from Sony Pictures TV and Pariah, revolves around a suburban Neighborhood Watch Group gone awry.

"Two Guys and a Girl" alum Ruccolo will play Jenny's (Abigail Spencer) happily married husband who always looks like he's dressed for a round of golf and is 100% behind her work with the Watch. He is repped by APA and manager Colton Gramm at Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Newcomer LaBow will play the troubled daughter of one of the leaders of the Watch. She is repped by IFA, Main Title Entertainment and attorney Howard Fishman.

Details on Herrmann's role on "Grey's" are being kept under wraps, but it is understood that he will play a doctor in at least three episodes.

Veteran Herrmann, who most recently co-starred on the CW's "The Gilmore Girls," is repped by APA and manager Robbie Kass of Kass & Stokes.
