Euro film commissions plan 'Shootings' spree

PARIS -- Film commissions from all over Europe are planning a "Shootings" spree with a new film locations show set to launch during the seventh International Cinema & Literature Forum in Monte Carlo, organizers said Thursday. The three-day event will kick off March 6.

The new showcase will offer information on financial and logistic aid from Europe's national film commissions for film and television producers worldwide. Support for the writing and development of films will be the focus of the event.

"Shootings" will complement already existing markets, the International Literary Adaptation Market and the Film Remake Market, held during the parallel forum, bringing together writers, directors and actors for roundtable sessions, master classes and film previews.
