The 38 year-old Marillas will take over the post immediately. Ferrand has left on amicable terms with the French film powerhouse’s general director Christophe Lambert saying in a statement: “The year that Carole spent with us was marked by a return to balance in the group and I thank her warmly for contributing to this return.”
Lambert added that the group is confident in Marillas, adding that “After 7 years at the heart of the group’s finance department, Regis is perfectly prepared to succeed brilliantly in this logical next step in his career.”
Marillas worked closely with Ferrand prior to his promotion and has been with EuropaCorp since 2005 after jobs at KPMG and Coyote Production.
