EuropaCorp taps Christophe Lambert
Jean-Julien Baronnet steps down from CEO postPARIS -- French indie studio EuropaCorp. has named Christophe Lambert CEO after Jean-Julien Baronnet stepped down from the post Wednesday.
Lambert was head of Omnicom subsidiary BBDO and president of the Publicis France Group before taking over as Deputy CEO of EuropaCorp. holding company Frontline. As head of Frontline, Lambert worked closely with EuropaCorp to finalize plans for the Cite du Cinema superstudio in Saint-Denis set to open its doors in early 2012.
Barronet didn't state his reasons for leaving, but has left "in order to reorientate his career" according to a statement from EuropaCorp.
Lambert will start his new job immediately, according to the group.
