Canadian DJ is stranded at Heathrow Airport and unable to fly home for Tuesday TV date.
TORONTO -- Weather chaos in Britain stopped Canadian electro music producer deadmau5 (aka Joel Zimmerman) from flying home for a live TV concert Tuesday night in Toronto.
Canadian broadcaster CTV said snowstorm delays at Heathrow Airport stranded DJ Zimmerman and forced the cancellation of a Dec. 21 TV concert on cable channel MuchMusic.
CTV delayed the concert and live broadcast to Jan. 4.
Zimmerman, who spins discs wearing mouse-eared headgear, filled the dance floor at Earl's Court arena in London on Saturday.
But the European travel chaos led to the cancellation of a Glasgow concert by the Canadian dance lord on Sunday.
