Eva Longoria Joins Matt Walsh for 'Unplugging' Comedy

Eva Longoria is to star alongside Matt Walsh in the road trip comedy Unplugging.

Lea Thompson, Keith David, Nicole Byer and Al Madrigal also board the directorial debut from veteran film editor Debra Neil-Fisher now before the cameras in Oklahoma.

After the death of a friend, Dan (Walsh) is inspired to whisk his wife, played by Longoria, to a remote town for a romantic weekend that quickly turns disastrous with unearthly encounters, strong edibles and bizarre locals.

With no cell and internet service, the married couple get lost, only to end up reconnecting with each other along the way home.

Walsh penned the script for Unplugged with Brad Morris. Debbie Liebling, Kevin Matusow, Carissa Buffel, Morris and Walsh producing.

William G. Santor's Productivity Media Inc. is financing Unplugged, and Radiant Films International is handling foreign sales.

Longoria is repped by WME, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. Walsh is repped by UTA.
