Eve Jobs Tops Destry Spielberg in Opening Day of Longines Masters L.A.

The daughter of the late Apple founder wins her event with her horse Quickley 3.

The Longines Masters of Los Angeles kicked off on Oct. 1 with big names in the ring, in the audience and on the winner’s board.

Eve Jobs, daughter of the late Steve Jobs, and her horse, Quickley 3, won the Écuries d’ Écaussinnes Trophy in a time of 29.181 seconds, besting fellow competitor Destry Spielberg. The 18-year-old rider was joined at the event by her parents, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.

Quentin Judge and horse HH Fyloe also rode to victory in the first 5 level class of the event — The Hollywood Reporter Grand Prix — in a time of 56.66 seconds.

The day session wrapped up with the opening evening gala in the Prestige Village lounge. Kaley Cuoco, Jessica Springsteen, Georgina Bloomberg and Hannah Selleck were among the 850 guests.

The Longines Masters of L.A. will continue over the next three days at the Los Angeles Convention Center with upcoming events including the Longines Speed Challenge, the Gucci Gold Cup, the Charity Pro-Am Style & Competition and the final Longines Grand Prix on Sunday.
