'That Evening Sun' to rise in November

Freestyle and Dogwood partner for release

Freestyle Releasing is partnering with Dogwood Entertainment to release writer/director Scott Teems’ “That Evening Sun,” starring Hal Holbrook.

The story of an aging farmer, played by Holbrook, who is befriended determined to reclaim his farm from its current tenant (Raymond McKinnon), the film is  based on the short story  “I Hate to See That Evening Sun Go Down” by William Gay. It was produced by Laura Smith, Terence Berry, McKinnon and Walton Goggins and exec produced by Adrian Jay, Larsen Jay and Raul L. Celaya of Dogwood Entertainment.

It will be released in selected theaters in New York on Nov. 6 and in Los Angeles on Nov. 20.
