'Everybody Wants Some' Star Blake Jenner Joins 'Sidney Hall'

Everybody Wants Some star Blake Jenner has joined indie film Sidney Hall.

Logan Lerman is starring in the film, which centers on a the titular character, who writes the book of his generation, and then disappears without a trace. The film will follow him through three stages of his life.

Elle Fanning, Michelle Monaghan, Kyle Chandler and Nathan Lane also are starring. Jenner will play Brett Newport, Sidney's schoolmate.

Shawn Christensen is directing the indie drama from a script he co-wrote with Jason Dolan. Jonathan Schwartz is producing through his Super Crispy Entertainment banner with Christensen and Lerman exec producing.

Jenner plays the lead in Richard Linklater’s 80s-set college baseball film Everybody Wants Some, which is now in theaters. He previously starred on Fox's hit musical comedy Glee from 2012-2015, and appeared on two episodes of Supergirl. He has several projects in post-production including the coming-of-age comedy The Edge of Seventeen with Hailee Seinfeld. He's repped by CAA, Atlas Artists and Sloane, Offer.
