Ex-Madonna manager Caresse Henry dies
Also worked with Ricky Martin and Paula AbdulCaresse Henry, an entertainment manager who once guided the careers of Madonna, Paula Abdul and others, has died in California.
A statement from publicist and longtime friend Liz Rosenberg said Henry was 44. The Orange County coroner's office said she died of a self-inflicted gunshot at her home in Irvine.
The Los Angeles native managed Madonna for 10 years until the early 1990s. Rosenberg said Henry also managed Ricky Martin, Abdul, Andrew Dice Clay and others.
Survivors include her two children, a sister, a brother and her parents.
