Ex-Warner exec Schopen joins Concorde
Tapped by German indie as head of distributionCOLOGNE, Germany -- Hans-Hermann Schopen, a former Warner Germany exec, has joined German indie Concorde Filmverleih as head of distribution. He replaces Holger Fuchs who is stepping down at the end of the month.
Concorde is coming off a great year, thanks in large part to the "Twilight" titles, which Concorde distributes in Germany. Concorde's 2010 slate includes "Eclipse," the final film in the "Twilight" trilogy, as well as big-ticket titles "Shutter Island" and "Iron Man 2."
