MTV Networks has promoted Reginald Williams to senior vp music strategy. He will be based in New York and report to George Cheeks, executive vp business affairs and co-general counsel of MTV Networks. In his new role, Williams will focus on the use of music on MTV's global television and digital platforms. He also will serve as an adviser on music rights and licensing agreements. Williams joined MTV Networks in 2001 as counsel to VH1 before moving to vp of the MTV Networks music strategy team.

Screenvision has hired media sales veteran Michael Chico executive vp sales. Chico will be responsible for all revenue generation from national, regional and local advertising of Screenvision cinema advertising activities. He also will work with the management team to identify and launch Screenvision representation of other alternative out-of-home media platforms. Most recently, Chico was executive vp advertising sales at Madison Square Garden, where his scope of work included the MSG and Fox Sports Net New York networks as well as signage, integrated marketing and naming rights for Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall.

Edie Lauw has been promoted to vp worldwide television finance at MGM, where she will oversee the financial planning and analysis for MGM Worldwide Television. Lauw will provide analysis for the negotiations to acquire new MGM TV programming, cable, VOD, syndication and made-for-TV films. She will continue to be based in the company's Century City headquarters. Most recently, Lauw was MGM's executive director of worldwide television finance.

Barry Nulman has been named vp sales operations for the Southwest region at Samma Systems. Nulman will be responsible for day-to-day functions associated with sales operations for Southern California, Southern Nevada and Arizona, with an emphasis on client relations, business development services and customer support. He most recently served as COO of Matchframe Media Group.

Melissa Wasserman has been appointed vp advertising sales marketing at AMC. She will be responsible for ad sales marketing for both the network and online, with a specific focus on developing innovative sales and marketing strategies for AMC's growing programming slate, branded environment and multiplatform opportunities.

Carol Strond has been promoted to vp sales administration at CBS Television Distribution. Strond will support the company's sales staff in the administration of several of CTD's programs, including "Wheel of Fortune," "Jeopardy!" "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Inside Edition," "Dr. Phil," "Rachael Ray" and "Everybody Loves Raymond." Strond had served in research and sales positions at Group W Prods., ABC, Paramount Television Distribution and RKO Television Representatives.

Antonious Porch has been promoted to vp business and legal affairs for the digital media group at Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family. He will oversee business and legal affairs for digital media content for the network and be responsible for negotiating and facilitating publishing and distribution deals and talent agreements surrounding digital media. Before joining Nickelodeon, Porch held positions at Latham & Watkins and Morrison & Foerster.
