Marc Brody has joined Litton Entertainment as executive vp distribution in Litton's New York offices. He previously worked with Cox Broadcasting's Rysher Entertainment and TPE, Universal Television, New Line Television, Cablevision and Westwood One/Metro TV in New York.

RHI Entertainment has tapped Russell Maitland for the newly created position of senior vp advertising sales. He will be responsible for leading RHI's sales efforts associated with Ion Media Networks, VOD and additional RHI platforms. Maitland was vp Eastern region at GSN and at Fox Cable Networks.

Chris Bosco has been promoted to senior vp finance at MGM Studios. Bosco will take on supervision of all financial matters for the studio's theatrical marketing, production finance and the newly forged home entertainment production unit in addition to his ongoing responsibilities managing the company's financial reporting. Bosco was vp and controller at MGM.

Michele Meyer has been appointed director of research at Tribune Entertainment Co. Meyer will be based in New York and be responsible for directing the research effort for all program sales, advertising sales and programming purposes for the company. She was director of research at Fuse Networks and has held positions at Bravo Television Network, Ogilvy & Mather, Fox Family Channel, A&E Television Networks and Group W Television Sales.

Joel Hyatt has been elected CEO to the board of directors at Current TV. Hyatt, who co-founded Current Media along with the network with former Vice President Al Gore, most recently was founder and CEO of Hyatt Legal Plans and a lecturer on entrepreneurship at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.

Steve Collins has been named vp business development at Opus 1 Music Library. He has held positions at MCA Records in the U.K., Virgin Music, EMI Music and Chrysalis Music.

Jeffrey Bronikowski has been appointed senior vp business development, global digital initiatives at Universal Music Group. He will lead key digital initiatives to grow UMG's consumer-facing presence by incubating new businesses, forming strategic partnerships and spearheading acquisitions. Bronikowski was vp business development at eLabs, UMG's digital and new technologies division.

Chanon Cook has been upped to vp programming research at Comedy Central and AtomFilms, components of MTV Networks' newly formed entertainment group. She was senior director programming research at Comedy Central.

Marvel Entertainment has hired Alan Fine as executive vp and chief marketing officer of Marvel Characters. He will be responsible for supporting and strengthen the company's brand names. Fine will retain his current title of CEO of Marvel's publishing and toy divisions.
