Ron Stuve has been named vp A&R/special projects at Universal Music Publishing Group Nashville. He was vp A&R and GM of BMG's Nashville-based country music division. Stuve will report to executive vp and GM Pat Higdon, who now will lead the newly combined Nashville division.

John Burnett has been promoted to vp and general sales manager at FSN Southwest. He will be based in Dallas and report to FSN Southwest senior vp and GM Jon Heidtke. Burnett originally joined the company in 1990 as an account executive and returned in 1998 as a national account executive representing FSN's regional sports networks.

Kathy Mandato has been named senior vp human resources at Comcast Entertainment Group, which includes oversight of E! Entertainment Television, the Style Network and G4. Mandato most recently was head of human resources at DreamWorks Animation.

David Kline has been appointed executive vp and chief information officer at Discovery Communications. Kline, who joined Rainbow Media in 1998 as director of information systems, primarily will focus on next-generation systems conversions and integrations in support of driving the company's overall brand-building and growth strategies.

Christina Sampaio-Forman has been promoted to vp development at the G Group. Sampaio-Forman, who co-produces "Sunday Best" on BET, was director of development. Before this appointment, she was a creative executive at the Samuel Goldwyn Co., director of development at TVA, script supervisor on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and associate producer for "Win Ben Stein's Money."

Julie Prentice as been elevated to vp client relations at NMA Entertainment & Marketing, where she will lead placement and promotion strategies for various clients. Prentice, who was senior account director, has been coordinating placements for NMA clients in theatrical releases since 1997.

Jason Holzman has been named vp brand creative at USA Network. He will be responsible for developing advertising concepts for the network's inventory of original series, movies, sports and special events. Holzman was creative director at Euro RSCG, where he created campaigns for such clients as the Ad Council, Evian, ExxonMobil and Intel.

Elaine Frontain Bryant has been promoted to vp nonfiction and alternative programming at A&E Networks. Frontain Bryant, who most recently was director of nonfiction and alternative programming, will continue to be responsible for overseeing the development and production of A&E's real-life series. She also will oversee the network's lifestyle programming and development team.

Kimberly Kleid has been appointed vp programming and development at NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Kleid, who began her career at NBC in 2003 as manager of development and talent, will continue to work on development for first-run syndication and will oversee cable and talent development on the West Coast.

Industry veteran Larry Greenberg has been named senior vp acquisitions at Peace Arch Entertainment, where he will help develop the company's growing North American home entertainment division. Greenberg joins Peace Arch from Showtime Networks, where he served as vp acquisitions since 2004.
