Orlena Blanchard has been upped to vp strategic marketing at TV One, where she will oversee the development of TV One On Demand and the affiliate marketing initiatives related to the network's VOD efforts, manage the network's trade marketing programs and support the negotiation and marketing efforts of the network's digital media distribution deals. Also at TV One, George Lima has been named vp affiliate marketing and local ad sales. He will be responsible for developing and managing all of the network's field marketing programs and promotions designed to support the network's affiliates. He also will manage national account marketing for several MSOs, including Time Warner, Cox, Charter and Cablevision.

There have been several staff appointments made at Universal Music Publishing Group under the direction of senior vp Latin America Eddie Fernandez. Marcelo Falcao has been appointed managing director of Brazil, Yadira Moreno has been named managing director of Mexico, Ana Maria de Visaggio has been tapped as GM of Argentina, Carmen Valencia is GM of Chile, Sonia Amaya has been named managing director of Colombia, and Rael Artero is vp creative U.S. Latin.

Brian Moreno and Peter Baer have been named to vp sales posts at Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution. Moreno will be responsible for the domestic licensing of motion picture and television content distributed by the studio to pay television and basic cable. Baer, as vp sales and sponsorships, will represent WBDCD to Madison Avenue and help create branded entertainment opportunities for various clients.

Sara Chazen has been elevated to senior vp and head of development and production at MY Entertainment Co./Carat Entertainment. Chazen will continue to create and produce all scripted and alternative concepts for network and cable television. Before joining MY Entertainment, Chazen started her own shingle, Organized Chaos Prods., where she produced E!'s "Hollywood Hold 'Em" series and also created and developed network shows for A&E, Lifetime and MTV.

Actor Ron Morgan, who serves as the Los Angeles local president of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, was elected vp for L.A. County Labor Federation. Morgan replaces John Connolly, who recently relocated to New York to become national executive director of Actors Equity.

Rose Adkins has been appointed global president of marketing and distribution at Farcor Studios. Adkins, who most recently was an executive at Universal Pictures, will be responsible for developing a worldwide marketing strategy and oversee foreign distribution and licensing deals. She will report to co-presidents and founders Ralphs Farquhar and Dwayne Corbitt.
