Expert TV to launch Russian business channel

Broadcast via satellite, cable and IPTV

MOSCOW -- The Russian media group Expert will launch a TV channel in the fall, Pyotr Shcherbakov, marketing director of Expert TV told The Hollywood Reporter Tuesday.

The channel will be broadcast via satellite, cable and IP TV networks, focusing on business and targeting a primarily male audience between 25 and 55 years old.

The initial investment in the channel will be $20 million. Expert owns national and regional business magazines and a ratings agency. Currently, Russia’s has only one business channel, RBC TV.
