Far East Film Festival: Genre Projects Chosen for Focus Asia Market
Thirteen projects from around the world will be presented at the second edition of the co-production film market.
Thirteen new genre film projects from 13 different countries will be presented at the second edition of the Focus Asia co-production film market, held during the Far East Film Festival from April 26-28 in Udine, Italy.
The projects were chosen out of 72 applications by a committee made up of specialists of genre films, including the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea, Black Nights Film Festival of Estonia, Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia of Spain and the Nordisk Film & Fond’s Nordic Genre Boost of Norway.
The producers and directors of the projects will meet up with over 100 industry professionals, including possible financiers, sales agents and decision makers from companies such as XYZ, Media Asia, M-Line, Showbox, Wild Bunch and Reel Suspects, in one-to-one meetings, panel meetings and case studies.
