Fashion Causes Kanye West to Spout Surprisingly Positive Rant
The rapper, who debuted his Adidas collection before a public NYC concert on Thursday, gave the crowd a surprisingly positive speech. Someone was in a good mood.
Kanye West, on time? The rapper appeared onstage only 15 minutes after his expected performance time for the free Roc City Nation concert in New York City on Thursday night, where he performed for an estimated crowd of 10,000 people.
"New York City, remember the night when you all saw me perform," he yelled. "Remember this night for the rest of your life. Remember this when you go to work next week. Remember to believe in yourself. Remember that anything is possible. I love you."
Yeezy, who presented his Adidas collection earlier in the day, made the weather worthwhile to the guests, by surprising them with appearances by Big Sean, 2 Chainz and Pusha T. His wife, Kim Kardashian, enjoyed from the warmth of backstage, along with his sister-in-law, Kendall Jenner. The model came late, just as the show was starting, and walked past the crowded concert to the backstage area, without the majority of guests paying notice to her. A roped off area was reserved for VIPs to watch the concert, or they could enjoy it inside the warmth of the 40/40 Club, owned by Jay Z, where an afterparty was held for the concert attended by those with VIP access and Rihanna, Jay Z, Beyonce and La La Anthony, who stayed roped off in the private back room areas.
