Fickman 'Again'

'Witch Mountain' helmer returns to Dis

Andy Fickman has signed to direct the Disney comedy "You Again," which will act as his next vehicle.

Fickman, who is coming off the studio's recently released "Race to Witch Mountain," also will produce with Eric Tannenbaum and John J. Strauss. Betsy Sullenger, Fickman's partner at his Disney-based Oops Doughnuts shingle, is co-producing.

Written by Moe Jelline, the story follows a young woman who finds out her brother is marrying the girl who made her high school years a living hell. She tries to find a way to show her brother the fiancee's true colors.

The studio hopes to begin production in late summer in Los Angeles, with Fickman already looking for the leads.

LouAnne Brickhouse and Todd Murata are overseeing for Disney.

Fickman, repped by Endeavor and Evolution, is developing "Monster Attack Network" at Disney and has an adaptation of the young-adult novel "Gimme a Call" set up at Paramount. He is also developing "Heathers: The Musical," a stage version of the 1980s cult movie.
