SNL's Bayer attempts an Anastasia moment in Audi's parody.

Vanessa Bayer's parody is part of Audi’s extensive promotional tie-in with the movie, to be released Feb. 13.

In the Fifty Shades of Grey novel, heroine Anastasia Steele is presented with the keys to a new Audi A3 by her wealthy boyfriend, Christian Grey. ("I can drive the Audi in high heels!" she exclaims.)

The scene is the inspiration for a teaser parody, produced by Audi and starring Saturday Night Live's Vanessa Bayer, released online Thursday in advance of the Fifty Shades movie, which premieres Feb. 13.

In the video, Bayer, playing a would-be Anastasia, attempts to seduce a procession of clueless males, then tries to convince one that the Audi key fob he holds is meant for her ("Anastasia got one...")

Audi was pleasantly surprised when it discovered that several of its models were displayed prominently throughout E.L. JamesFifty Shades trilogy, which has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide. The German car maker didn't pay for the placements, Ad Age reported

The movie version of Fifty Shades of Grey, however, is another matter.

Audi supplied its R8, S8, S7, Q7 and A3 models to the film, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunnetti.

Audi has courted Hollywood aggressively in recent years, sponsoring parties, shuttling stars to events and landing its R8 in the Iron Man series as the personal car of Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.).
