Morgan Spurlock has signed with CAA for representation in all areas. Spurlock writes, executive produces and stars in the FX series "30 Days," which is now in its third season. Spurlock, who is managed by the Arlook Group, broke through with the 2004 documentary "Super Size Me." In April, the Weinstein Co. distributed his most recent docu, "Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden?"


West Hollywood is the latest city to throw its hat into the film festival ring, playing host to its inaugural international film fest July 29-Aug. 1. The fest, presented by DeLuca Entertainment, will include more than 100 features and documentaries as well as about 30 short films from the U.S. and around the world, including the quirky documentary "Tribute This" and the short "Milkshake." Screenings will be held at Regency Theaters, the Writers Guild Theater and the House of Blues.


Regent Releasing and its sister company, here! Films, have picked up the North American distribution rights to Yen Tan's drama "Ciao," about two strangers living in different parts of the world who connect through the loss of a mutual friend. "Ciao" marks the fifth film screened at the recent Outfest gay and lesbian film festival in Los Angeles that Regent and here! have acquired since the fest ended Monday.
