The Wong Jing-founded company will provide hits to the pay TV outlet including the 'From Vegas to Macau' trilogy and 'Chasing the Dragon' starring Donnie Yen and Andy Lau.

Asian TV operator Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE) and film studio Mega-Vision Project Workshop (MVPW) have renewed their exclusive multi-year output deal.

MVPW, founded by veteran hit maker Wong Jing, recently produced the blockbuster comedy franchise From Vegas to Macau, which has grossed over $470 million in China and Hong Kong, and the crime thriller Chasing the Dragon, starring Donnie Yen and Andy Lau, which took in $87 million in China.

The deal entails first and exclusive pay TV rights, pay-per-view, video-on-demand and over-the-top rights to MVPW's upcoming slate of movies for CTE’s channels, Celestial Movies and cHK, in Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines.

CTE, a joint venture of Saban Capital Group, Celestial Pictures and Lionsgate, runs the largest bouquet of pan-Asian channels for Asia entertainment. Apart from MVPW, CTE has deals with Hong Kong film companies Distribution Workshop, Emperor Motion Pictures, Media Asia and Universe Entertainment.
