The 'Grey's Anatomy' star goes all 'Wall Street' as a slicked-back CEO in the new drama series from Sky Italia and Lux Vide.

Patrick Dempsey is channelling Wall Street-era Michael Douglas in his latest role, playing an evil banker in Devils, the new series from European pay TV network Sky.

In the first image from the series, provided exclusively to The Hollywood Reporter, Grey's Anatomy Dr. Dreamy has exchanged his hospital greens for a powersuit and given his tousled locks a slick comb back to play Dominic Morgan, the American CEO of an international investment bank whose dirty dealings threaten to sink Europe's economy.

Morgan heads the London office, where he mentors Massimo Ruggero (Alessandro Borghi of Netflix's Suburra), head of trading, a self-made Italian man who has risen up the corporate ranks. When Ruggero discovers that his powerful mentor is wrapped up in an inter-continental finance war, Ruggero must decide between what's good for his bank and what's good for his country.

Sky has also unveiled two new castmembers joining the series. Kasia Smutniak (Loro, Made in Italy) will play Morgan's stunning wife, Nina Morgan, with Danish actor Lars Mikkelsen (The Killing, House of Cards) will star as Daniel Duval, leader of a powerful international group publishing secret financial information.

The international cast also includes Laia Costa (Victoria), Malachi Kirby (Roots), Paul Chowdhry (Live at the Apollo), Pia Mechler (Everything Is Wonderful), Harry Michell (Chubby Funny) and Sallie Harmsen (Blade Runner 2049).

Devils is based on the best-selling novel by Guido Maria Brera. British director Nick Hurran (Sherlock, Doctor Who, Fortitude, Altered Carbon) is directing the series, which is currently being shot in Rome and London.

Sky Italia and Lux Vide are producing the 10-episode original series in collaboration with Orange Studio. Sky Vision is distributing the series internationally.
