Freya Mavor is reliving her relationship highs in The Hollywood Reporter's exclusive first look at Modern Life Is Rubbish.

The Scottish actress stars opposite Josh Whitehouse in the romantic comedy about a couple in the throes of a breakup who relive the highlights of their relationship while splitting up their record collection.

The film marks Daniel Jerome Gill’s feature directorial debut.

Modern Life Is Rubbish is based on Gill’s 2009 short film of the same name, which starred Rafe Spall and Rebecca Night. The film takes its name from the title of the second album by British band Blur.
