Formal Complaint Filed in Justin Bieber Case
Royal Canadian Mounted Police are investigating an alleged assault by the pop star.
TORONTO -- The father of a 12-year-old boy allegedly assaulted last Friday by Justin Bieber during a laser tag game mishap has lodged a formal complaint with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported Monday night.
But the RCMP, while indicating they are investigating a tag game incident at Planet Lazer in suburban Vancouver, refused to name the young boy that reportedly sustained a minor injury when he crossed paths with Bieber, who is 16 years old.
"And in the case where it involves a minor, we're simply not in a position to ever release the person's name," RCMP Cpl. Annie Linteau told CBC News.
Bieber has been in Vancouver over the weekend ahead of a Tuesday night concert in the west coast city.
