Joining him will be CAA's Michael Cooper, Dave Bugliari, Mick Sullivan and Jack Whigham; WME's Rich Cook; and UTA's Lucinda Moorhead, among others.

Peter Micelli, a former TV lit agent at CAA who most recently was chief strategy officer of television, film and digital at Entertainment One,  is launching a new management-production company, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Among those said to be joining him at the new firm are four CAA agents: Michael Cooper, Dave Bugliari, Mick Sullivan and Jack Whigham.

In addition, WME's Rich Cook is joining the company along with UTA's Lucinda Moorhead, Susie Fox and Chelsea McKinnies, and Mackenzie Roussos also among those jumping ship to join the new venture.

Billionaire and hedge-fund trader Steve Cohen — who is in the midst of trying to buy the New York Mets — is among the investors, sources said.

Micelli stepped down from his role at eOne in April. There, his primary focus was on TV packaging and domestic sales. At eOne, Micelli joined his former client Mark Gordon, who was chief content officer at the time (Gordon added the title of president before stepping down in July 2019 and signing a multiyear producing deal with the company).

Before that, Micelli spent 23 years at CAA. He started out in the mailroom before rising through the ranks. His clients over the years included such showrunners as Jenji Kohan, Alex Kurtzman, Damon Lindelof, and Miles Millar and Al Gough.
