Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell and Kristin Scott Thomas are returning for the short 'One Red Nose Day and a Wedding,' which will pick up 25 years after the first film.

Twenty five years after Andie MacDowell famously didn't notice that rain was cascading down her face in the final scene of Four Weddings and a Funeral, the cast of the hit British comedy are set to reunite.

The short film One Red Nose Day and a Wedding is currently in production — with full support from rights holder MGM — for the 2019 edition of Red Nose Day, with the charity's founder Richard Curtis (who also wrote Four Weddings and a Funeral) having penned the script.

The original cast of Hugh Grant, MacDowell, Kristin Scott Thomas, John Hannah, Rowan Atkinson, James Fleet, David Haig, Sophie Thompson, David Bower, Robin McCaffrey, Anna Chancellor, Rupert Vansittart, Simon Kunz, Sara Crowe and Timothy Walker will also star in the short, alongside some special guest stars. Mike Newell is returning to direct the new installment, set to pick up 25 years after the first film.

"We’re all definitely older — I suspect no wiser," said Curtis. "It’s been really enjoyable working out what’s happened to all the characters — and now they get back together for the fifth wedding. Where, as usual, not everything will go as planned."

One Red Nose Day and a Wedding, which will premiere on Red Nose Day on the BBC on March 15, and as part of NBC's Red Nose Day USA programming in May, comes after Red Nose Day Actually, which reunited the cast of Curtis' Love Actually and premiered during the 2017 edition of Red Nose Day.
