Fox acts on 'Suspicion' pilot

Fox has given a put pilot commitment to "Suspicion," a drama from writer Emily Whitesell.

The project, from Warner Bros. TV, centers on a woman who becomes a reluctant heroine after she discovers that her live-in boyfriend is a terrorist.

In addition to writing, Whitesell (ABC's "Brothers & Sisters") is executive producing with Jon Harmon Feldman and Thomas Schlamme.

This is the second project about an ordinary person who becomes involved in matters of national security that Fox has picked up this week. The network also gave a script commitment with penalty to "NSA Innocent," a drama from executive producers Bob Cochran, David Ehrman, Joel Surnow and Howard Gordon about an everyman who finds himself caught up against his will in the world of espionage (HR 10/18).
