Donald Trump GOP Debate - H 2015

The sixth Republican showdown will take place in South Carolina.

Not had your fill of GOP debates? Fox Business Network will host the sixth of 11 planned showdowns between the remaining Republican presidential candidates in a race that, 11 months out from Election Day, has been essentially unavoidable on cable news since Fox News' reaped bonkers ratings with the first debate in August.

On the heels of its November debate, Fox Business Network will host the January showdown, airing the RNC-sanctioned event live from the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center in South Carolina. Keeping in line with network programming, the subject matter will again likely skew towards finance and business. But it will be the first debate after President Barack Obama's 2016 State of the Union address, airing just three days later.

The debate will be held Thursday, Jan. 14. Network moderators, entry criteria and additional debate information will come closer to the date.

Though every GOP debate has thus far set personal bests for the respective networks, ratings have been on a downward trajectory. The Fox Business Network debate in November drew 13.5 million viewers and 3.7 million in the news demo of adults 25-54.

The GOP's next debate returns to CNN on Dec. 15.
