Fox will have first-look rights to comedy projects from Jonathan Stern and Keith Quinn.

Fox has signed a first-look deal with producers Jonathan Stern and Keith Quinn to incubate comedy projects from the duo.

Their projects will be distributed through digital platforms such as Hulu and Roku with the goal of adapting them for full series on networks such as Fox, FX and FXX. The digital veterans will also help with production and distribution of select projects for comedy troupe The Lonely Island, which inked a multiyear deal with Fox in January.

Stern, the founder of Abominable Pictures, is the executive producer of web series Burning Love. He was also EP on Childrens Hospital, which was later adapted for Adult Swim. In addition, he executive produces Adult Swim's NTSF:SD:SUV::, the upcoming IFC series Garfunkel and Oates, and Hulu series Hotwives of Orlando

Quinn, meanwhile, was most recently senior vp creative development and production of Paramount Digital Entertainment. He first collaborated with Stern on Bachelor spoof Burning Love, which ran for three seasons on Yahoo and later aired on E!

"Jon and Keith have a proven track record of making outrageous digital comedy series that have graduated to successful on-air shows," said Kiliaen Van Rensselaer, Fox senior vp multiplatform programming. "Their sensibility, expertise and ingenuity are perfectly suited to FOX as we continue pioneering in this realm."

The deal expands on Fox's digital efforts, which include a strategic partnership with digital studio WIGS and the launch of Animation Domination High-Def in 2012.
