Fox International Channels Top Executive Jesus Perezagua Steps Down
A long-time FIC exec, Perezagua has been president of the group's European and African operations since 2011.
Jesus Perezagua will step down as President of Europe and Africa for Fox International Channels on April 30, FIC announced Monday.
Perezagua, who has been with FIC since 2003, will continue to consult for companies in the group, FIC president and CEO Hernan Lopez said in a statement, adding “we’re disappointed that Jesus is leaving FIC.”
FIC, a unit of 21st Century Fox, which operates some 324 branded channels reaching a total of more than 1.6 billion subscribers worldwide, has begun the search for a replacement.
Perezagua began his career at FIC in 2003, joining the group as managing director of FIC Spain and Portugal. From 2005, he headed up the company’s expansion across Eastern and Central Europe as well as Greece and Turkey before taking over for the entire European and African operations in 2011.
Before joining Fox International Channels, Perezagua held positions at Fox Kids Entertainment in Spain and at Japanese toy company Bandai Espana.
