Fox picks up 'Eva Adams' to pilot

Kevin Falls is exec producing telenovela

Fox has ordered Kevin Falls' adaptation of the Argentinean telenovela "Lalola" to pilot.

The hourlong project -- from Sony Pictures TV, where the "Journeyman" creator is based -- is tentatively titled "Eva Adams." It is set at a sports management firm and centers on an womanizer who, under a witch's spell, turns into a beautiful woman so he can endure the harassment that women do.

The network originally picked up "Eva" in late June with a put pilot commitment. In July, Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly listed it among the eight projects put on the fast track for the network's first December pilot screening.

Falls is executive producing "Eva" with Sony TV-based Jamie Tarses.
