Fox Reality greenlights 'Solitary'

Show to enter third season

Fox Reality Channel has greenlighted its competition series "Solitary" for a third season.

In addition, the network has named ShineReveille International as its distribution partner to license the show's format and finished episodes worldwide.

"Solitary 3.0" is in preproduction. Nine new participants will be subjected to physical and psychological tests requiring extreme patience and endurance, with a new twist for the third season that's being kept under wraps. One winner will take home a cash prize of $50,000.

"Solitary 3.0," which Fox Reality said is its most successful original series, is executive produced by co-creators Andrew Golder and Lincoln Hiatt.
