Samuel Goldwyn Films and Orion Pictures has nabbed the family dramedy Youth in Oregon.

Frank Langella stars as an elderly man who has made the decision to take advantage of Oregon's assisted suicide law. His son-in-law (Billy Crudup) agrees to drive him 3,000 miles across the country, hoping to change his mind along the way.

Christina Applegate, Mary Kay Place and Nicola Peltz also star in the Joel David Moore-directed feature.

Stefan Nowicki, Joey Carey, Morgan White and Sirad Balducci produced the feature, which was executive produced by Langella and Ross Dinerstein.

Youth in Oregon premiered in April at the Tribeca Film Festival. Samuel Goldwyn and Orion has set a Feb. 3 release date for the film, for both theatrical and on-demand.

The deal was negotiated by Paradigm on behalf of the filmmakers.
