Fremantle sits in with 'Abbey Road'

FremantleMedia Enterprises on Monday announced a multiyear representation deal for the music-centric series "Live From Abbey Road," which has been sold to 145 territories and is now shooting its second season.

FME will handle all rights to the second and third seasons of the show, which profiles recording artists rehearsing and performing in the London studios, using a "fly on the wall" style. Artists confirmed for the second season include Herbie Hancock, the Stereophonics, James Blunt and Colbie Callait.

The U.K.'s Channel 4 is set to air the second season starting in June. Stateside, Sundance Channel has snapped up rights to Season 2.

"Abbey Road" is produced by Michael Gleason and Peter van Hooke.
