Burton will head back to France in May to serve as jury president at this year's Festival de Cannes. Cotillard thanked Burton for "opening the doors to American cinema" thanks to her role in the director's 2003 film "Big Fish."
The French premiere of Burton's latest film "Alice in Wonderland" will host its red carpet premiere in Paris on Monday night before hitting Gallic screens on March 24.
