'Frozen', 'Lego Movie' Win BAFTA Children's Awards

'Shaun the Sheep' and Cartoon Network also take home gongs

Frozen and The Lego Movie were among the winners at the BAFTA Children's Awards, which were held on Sunday in London.

Disney's Oscar-winning feature took the honor for best film in the kids' vote category, which saw more than 200,000 votes cast by kids aged 7 to 14. In the same section, Minecraft won the game award, and Jessie won for TV.

Elsewhere, The Lego Movie fought off competition from Maleficent, How to Train Your Dragon 2 and kids' favorite Frozen to win best feature film at the London ceremony.

In television, Turner's Cartoon Network took home the channel of the year honor, while Aardman Animations' Shaun the Sheep won its second BAFTA award for animation. Mario Kart 8 triumphed in the game category.
