MTV VMAs: Future Performs "F*ck Up Some Commas"

The rapper took the stage for his very first performance at the Video Music Awards.

Future took the MTV Video Music Awards stage for the first time on Sunday night with a performance of his hit "F*ck Up Some Commas."

The rapper, who was introduced by Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, donned a bright red jacket and pants as he paced the stage with a crew of backup dancers.

Future scored three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 in the past year: 2015's DS2, What a Time to Be Alive (a joint mixtape with Drake) and 2016's Evol. He dropped his most recent mixtape, Purple Reign, in January.

The 2016 MTV VMAs took place at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday evening.
