'Game of Thrones': The Mountain Sets Yet Another Strongman Record

Macall B. Polay/ HBO

He is the first man to be crowned Iceland's Strongest Man five years in a row.

If Game of Thrones finale hasn't offer proof enough that Hafthor Julius Bjornsson is a mountain of a man, maybe this will.

The massive Icelandic strongman, known for playing the brutal and physically intimidating Mountain on Game of Thrones, has just taken his fifth consecutive title for Iceland's Strongest Man. He's the only man to win five consecutive titles. And he had to move some boulders as part of his right of passage.

Bjornssonm is known for his fetes of strength, breaking a 1,000-year-old Viking record earlier this year. He's riding high after making a brief return to Game of Thrones in Sunday's season five finale. He spoke to The Hollywood Reporter last year about season four's epic duel. Read what he had to say here
