GameFly tests game rental kiosks

Company is doing trials at universities

Another player has joined the burgeoning entertainment kiosk market: GameFly.

The online video game rental company is quietly testing video game rental kiosks at university campuses, with games available from Nintendo's Wii, Sony's PlayStation 3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360.

A GameFly spokeswoman said the company was testing the program to see how it goes before deciding whether to expand outside of universities.

"Currently the GameFly G-Box is a pilot program that we are testing out on select college campuses," she said. "We have no set future plans for the program until we know how the pilot performs."
