Garg to head Balaji Motion Pictures

Replaces Vikram Malhotra as CEO

NEW DELHI -- Tanuj Garg will head Balaji Motion Pictures as the banner's CEO, moving from Studio18 where he was head of international operations.

BMP is the film arm of leading TV production house Balaji Telefilms, headed by Ekta Kapoor, which has produced some of India's most successful TV soaps for top channels such as StarPlus and Zee TV.

BMP produced recent hits “Love, Sex Aur Dhokha” and “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.”

Garg will report to Balaji Telefilms Group CEO Punit Kinra and replaces Vikram Malhotra, who recently quit Balaji to join Studio 18 as COO.
