'Gay, Straight' takes in 1.3 mil


Lifetime's new reality series "Gay, Straight or Taken?" averaged 1.3 million total viewers in its debut at 8 p.m. Monday, with a second episode at 8:30 p.m. drawing 1.6 million, the latter of which was on par with the premiere of Lifetime's now defunct reality show "Cheerleader Nation" in March. Following "Gay," the Lifetime original movie "To Be Fat Like Me," which aired at 9 p.m., averaged 3.7 million total viewers, above the 3.3 million average of all of Lifetime's original movies in 2006.
