Details magazine’s Details @ Midnight bash

Couples that play together stay together, and this party promises lovebirds/DJs/New York couple-about-town Brendan Fallis and Hannah Bronfman on the tables. 

“I’m really looking forward to the Details mag party because I will be DJing with some amazing talent like RAC,” says Bronfman. “I play their remixes all the time.”

The venerable Pacific Palisades boutique’s e-commerce site will host a soiree at the 2nd annual incarnation of Soho House’s desert pop up.

Harper’s Bazaar Poolside party

Harper’s Bazaar editors and co-host Julianne Hough will kick off the three-day weekend with a private pool party at the Parker Palm Springs with DJ Mia Moretti, who will play the bash for the second year in a row. We love the Parker (and all of its genius Jonathan Adler accouterment that makes us want to live in 1963) but also the fact that this is a fashion bash — and with high maintenance attendees comes favorable conditions such as shade, chairs and cucumber-infused waters. 

Poolside at the Ingleside with DJ Mia Moretti and Friends

When her Bazaar duties are done, the cutesy New York DJ is hosting a party of her own — her first ever. 

“I must say I am most excited about my own party,” says Moretti, who has asked friends Myles Hendrik, Wade Crescent, Henri, Equal and Marcelle Harlow to help her spin ’50s -’70s tunes at the invite-only shindig. “I’ve been going to the festival for over 5 years, and this is the first time I decided to host my own bash. I love the classic Palm Springs vibe, the Frank Sinatra undertones, the lazy afternoons by the pool.”

SATURDAY, APRIL 12

H&M Loves Music

An invite-only evening soiree held in Indio with a surprise live performance for guests, and, we’d imagine, more floral headcrowns than one could count. Last year, Diane Kruger showed up in a pair of pirate boots. We’re curious what costume she will arrive in this time around.

NYLON & Olay Fresh Effects Present Neon Carnival with GUESS

Desert debauchery wouldn’t exist without this annual epic affair that finds a Thermal, CA airfield turned into a bona fide carnival complete with Ferris wheels, skill games and unlimited booze that seems to never end.

“Every year I look forward to the Neon Carnival that [Brent] Bolthouse throws,” says Danny Masterson (aka DJ Mom jeans). “The first few years had a roundabout set up of DJs that included me, DJ AM and Steve Aoki. It’s fun because it’s a raging dance party and all your friends from L.A. are riding carnival rides like they’re little kids again.”

STYLEBOP.com Barbecue Brunch

Held at a private estate, the exclusive barbecue brunch will be hosted by DJ Harley Viera-Newton and designer Langley Fox Hemingway, with a surprise live musical performance. We’re suckers for a good grilled hotdog, so we’ll be there.

Jeremy Scott x Adidas’ Coachella party

This super exclusive annual bash — held at Frank Sinatra‘s old digs — always promises a hefty dose of cool factor that only the designer can provide. 

Pool Party at the Bootsy Bellows Estate

The daytime soiree in Rancho Mirage will feature performances from Passion Pit and Juicy J. We’re there.

 

Lacoste’s 5th Annual Desert Pool Party

Held at a private estate, this massive two-day shindig will see Elijah Wood on the turntables while invite-only guests enjoy poolside cabanas, food trucks, and SPF-enhanced beauty products from Kiehl’s. Alongside Wood, DJ Ana Calderon — who spun at Pret-a-Reporter’s Ace Hotel launch party in February — says she’s excited to spin at the bash, which she says has “the perfect mix of relaxation, debauchery and pool times fun in the desert sun.” Though nothing is yet confirmed, we hear Zoe Kravitz and her band LOLAWOLF will be DJing a set. We’ll be there if only to see what she wears.

Adidas Original’s The Do-Over

No Coachella is complete without a stop at the Ace. Luckily this annual BBQ/pool party gives us reason to throw on our favorite pair of Warby Parkers and stop by.

Cynthia Vincent Brunch 

A private, 11:30 am brunch hosted by the L.A.-based contemporary designer at a mid-century, Palm Springs estate sounds like the perfect way to wind down Coachella weekend. Here’s hoping the mimosas will flow.
