2015 CFDA Nominations Announced

The Council of Fashion Designers of America have revealed this year’s nominees and honorees for the CFDA Awards, set to take place June 1 at New York’s Alice Tully Hall. The news was announced Monday at an event hosted by designer and CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg and CEO Steven Kolb, with Swarovski as the ceremony’s annual partner.

Joseph Altuzarra of Altuzarra, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, The Row’s Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Proenza Schouler’s Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough are among those nominated for the Womenswear Designer of the Year award. Jacobs and Altuzarra also were nominated under this category last year (Altuzarra went home with the prize).
